Community, Solidarity, Action: Teaching Civics with NYPL

Join the New York Public Library’s Center for Educators and Schools with special guest Dr. Sonja Cherry-Paul, co-author of Stamped (For Kids) this Election Day for a civics-themed professional learning program.

This day-long program will explore the themes of community, solidarity, and civic action through workshops on teaching with primary sources, a tour of the Polonsky Exhibition of The New York Public Library’s Treasures, and discussions of new ways to use civics-themed books.
